The following promotion is intended for viewing in the United States and Canada only (including its territories, possessions, and commonwealths, except Puerto Rico) and will be construed and evaluated according to United States laws. Do not proceed in this site if you are not a legal U.S. or Canadian resident, 21 years or older, and accessing this site in the United States or Canada, its territories, possessions, or commonwealths (except Puerto Rico and Quebec).

How to Enter: Beginning at 8:00 a.m. Central Standard time (“CST”) on March 2nd, 2011 until 5:00 p.m. CST on March 1st, 2012 (the “Sweepstakes Period”), you may enter the National Fix and Flip Networks (“NFAFN”) 2011/2012 NFAFN “Fix for Free Giveaway” sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) in the following way: (i) online by visiting the NFAFN website (www.NFAFN.COM) (the “NFAFN Website”) and completing the online entry form (limit one (1) online entry, per valid email address, per eligible person per day). Mechanically reproduced or hand-stamped entries or mailing labels or entries generated by script, macro or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert the entry process will not be accepted. Incorrect, illegible, and incomplete entries are void. These Official Rules are also available at the NFAFN Website or by writing to NFAFN “Fix for Free Giveaway” – Rules Request, 500 W. Silver Spring Drive, Suite K-200, Glendale, WI 53217.
All eligible entries will be entered in the Grand Prize Drawing. When you enter at the NFAFN Website, you may be asked to consent to receive promotional e-mails and reminders for upcoming NFAFN promotions and information about NFAFN and the Participating Product Sponsors. Consenting to receive such e-mails is optional and does not have to be agreed to in order to be eligible to enter the Sweepstakes and does not improve your chances of winning. National Fix and Flip Network, Inc. (“Main Sponsor”), and all Participating Product Sponsors, (collectively with Main Sponsor, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent corporations, and advertising and promotion agencies and each of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, and any and all Internet servers and access provider(s) (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible for: any incorrect or inaccurate entry information; human error; technical malfunctions; failures, omission, interruption, deletion, or defect of any telephone network, computer online systems, computer equipment, server providers, or software, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in this Sweepstakes; inability to access the NFAFN Website; theft, tampering, destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries; entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are incomplete or lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website; printing, typographical, human or other errors relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors that may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, the announcement of the prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; and any mail or entries which are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, stolen, garbled, mutilated, illegible or postage due, or any combination thereof.
Proof of mailing, in person submission, or online submission is not considered proof of delivery or receipt. All entries become the property of NFAFN and will not be returned. A purchase will not increase chance of winning. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, MAIN SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES (INCLUDING ATTORNEY’S FEES) FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
Eligibility: This Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the U.S. and Canada and its territories, possessions and commonwealths (excluding Puerto Rico and Quebec) who are 21 years of age or older as of March 2nd, 2011, except employees and members of their households, whether or not related, and immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings, children and each of their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) of NFAFN, and all other participating product sponsors (collectively, the “Participating Product Sponsors”), and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, and affiliates, and their advertising and promotion agencies and all local sponsors are not eligible to enter or win the prize. Main Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a background check on any potential Grand Prize Winner and reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any person based on such background check if Main Sponsor determines in its sole discretion that awarding the prize to such potential Grand Prize Winner might reflect negatively on Main Sponsor or any of the Participating Product Sponsors. By entering, all participants and/or entrants release the Released Parties from and against all claims and damages arising in connection with each entrant’s participation and/or entry in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her receipt or use of the prize (including any injury or harm resulting from the use of the vehicle or any travel or activity related thereto) awarded in this Sweepstakes. Any and all warranties and guarantees are subject to the respective manufacturer’s terms. This Sweepstakes is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void in Puerto Rico and Quebec, outside the U.S. and Canada and where prohibited by law.
How the Grand Prize Winner will be Determined: Grand Prize Drawing:
The potential Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the entire Sweepstakes Period on or about April 1st, 2012 by an independent judging organization (“Sweepstakes Administrator”). The odds of winning the Grand Prize depends upon the number of eligible entries received for the entire Sweepstakes Period.
Grand Prize Winner Notification: Main Sponsor anticipates that the potential Grand Prize Winner will be contacted in person on or about April 1st, 2012 (subject to change) in the form of a “ambush style” visit by Main Sponsor representatives and such potential Grand Prize Winner may be filmed during such visit by Main Sponsor. Main Sponsor also reserves the right to randomly select an unspecified number of potential finalists for the Grand Prize and require them to travel at Main Sponsor’s expense to a location in the United States where the Grand Prize Winner will be selected in a random drawing that may be televised. Potential Grand Prize Winner will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and publicity (where permitted by law), and return same, fully-executed, within five (5) days of date of issuance of prize notification. Selected entrants who are Canadian residents will be required to correctly answer without assistance of any kind, whether mechanical or otherwise, a time-limited mathematical skill testing question to be administered by mail or by telephone in order to win. Main Sponsor may require the potential Grand Prize Winner to travel at Main Sponsor’s expense to the 2011/2012 “Fix for Free Giveaway” location for publicity purposes on or about April 1st, 2012 (date subject to change).
If Main Sponsor is unable to contact the potential Grand Prize Winner within five (5) days of date of the initial attempt, if the potential Grand Prize Winner fails to return all requested forms fully-executed by the specified date, or if the potential Grand Prize Winner fails to comply with these Official Rules, including traveling on the dates and times required by Main Sponsor, his/her place as a Grand Prize Winner will be forfeited at Main Sponsor’s discretion and an alternate Grand Prize Winner may be selected, at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Main Sponsor reserves the right to notify the potential Grand Prize Winner by overnight courier and/or telephone and/or email.
Main Sponsor and Sweepstakes Administrator’s decisions with respect to the Grand Prize Winner and other matters pertaining to the Sweepstakes shall be final and binding and are subject to change. By entering into the Sweepstakes, each entrant consents to the use by Sweepstakes Entities and their designees of his/her name, his/her pet’s name, photograph (including photographs of his/her pet(s) submitted to NFAFN, if applicable), likeness, biography, voice, performance and/or video (including any footage compiled when the potential winner of the Grand Prize is contacted) for advertising and promotional purposes including “ambush style” on-air camera appearances to announce the potential Grand Prize Winner on a date to be determined by Main Sponsor in or around April 2012 (or as otherwise set forth above) in any and all media, including online announcements now or hereafter known, worldwide and without limitation and without additional compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law. In addition, participants in any of NFAFN’s on-air presentations will be required to sign any agreements and releases designed by Main Sponsor with respect to their services and performances. Main Sponsor and its designees may exploit, edit, modify, and distribute any footage compiled during the period when NFAFNs potential Grand Prize Winner is contacted, including, without limitation, the names and likenesses of any persons or locations embodied therein, in any and all media now known or not currently known, throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation, permission or notification to any potential Grand Prize Winner or any third party.
Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If, in the Main Sponsor’s opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of electronic or non-electronic tampering with any portion of the Sweepstakes, or if computer virus, bugs, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or technical difficulties or failures compromise or corrupt or affect the administration, integrity, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, the Main Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process and void any entries submitted fraudulently, to modify or suspend the Sweepstakes, or to terminate the Sweepstakes and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the termination date. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the NFAFN Website. Any attempt by an entrant or any other individual to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, NFAFN reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
In the event of a dispute as to the identity of the potential Grand Prize Winner based on an e-mail address, the winning entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry and such individual will be required to comply with these Official Rules. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner shall win the Grand Prize consisting of the “Fix for Free Giveaway” home makeover. The home makeover is valued at approximately $150,000.00 as of February 2011. All decisions related to the “Fix for Free Giveaway” shall be at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Actual value of NFAFN “Fix for Free Giveaway” depends on market fluctuations of materials and labor. The home remodel may consist of the following items: Tile, Windows, Doors, Kitchen and Bath Cabinets, Appliances, Air conditioning and Furnace, Kitchen and Bath countertops, Carpeting, Paint/stain, Plumbing, Lighting, Roofing, Siding, Decks, Window Coverings, and labor. Any or all of the above listed items may be substituted as the main sponsor sees appropriate. Any substituted items will have the same or a similar retail value of the item substituted for. NFAFN offers no warranties, express or implied, other than those, if any, provided by the contractor or main corporate sponsors (“corporate sponsors”) from whom NFAFN has agreed to acquire the NFAFN “Fix for Free Giveaway” services and products. Corporate sponsors may at their own discretion, offer any applicable manufacturers’ warranties.
All current and future real estate taxes and all other taxes, costs, fees, and expenses related to the maintenance of the house commencing as of the date the Grand Prize Winner accepts the Grand Prize will be the responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. Title insurance and homeowner’s hazard and liability insurance shall be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner. The Released Parties shall not be responsible for construction delays and condition of title to home shall otherwise be as set forth in the Home Contract.
All contractors, subcontractors and corporate sponsors will be required to sign and deliver to the Grand Prize winner, signed “lien waivers” upon the completion of the home remodeling. General Prize Conditions: All costs, taxes, fees, and expenses associated with the prize or the acceptance and use of any element of the prize not specifically addressed above are the sole responsibility of the winner. All federal, state, and local taxes on prize are winner’s responsibility. Grand Prize Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the approximate retail value (ARV) of the prize. The specifics of all aforementioned elements of the prize in the Sweepstakes shall be solely determined by Main Sponsor.
Some restrictions may apply. Prize cannot be transferred, substituted or redeemed for cash except at Main Sponsor’s sole discretion. Main Sponsor reserves the right to substitute the prize, or portion(s) thereof, at its sole discretion. Full cooperative access to the winning property shall be granted to the main sponsor and its corporate sponsors all affiliates and employees for the purpose of remodeling said property within 30 days of the Grand Prize award date of April 1st, 2012. Full completion of all of the remodeling work including material installation and labor will be made within 365 days from the “full cooperative access” (including interior and exterior) date to the property following the award date of April 1st, 2012. The Grand Prize winner will be responsible for proving “home ownership” to the main sponsor, prior to any work being started and no later than April, 15th, 2012.
Winner’s List/Opt-Out Request: Beginning on or about April 1st, 2012 you may obtain the name of the Grand Prize Winner either by going to the NFAFN Website (www.nfafn.com) or mailing a self-addressed stamped envelope to: NFAFN “Fix for Free Giveaway” Winner’s List, 500 W. Silver Spring Drive, Suite K-200, Glendale, WI 53217.
